The other day my foodie friend Roberto and I made this corn and black bean soup. Well, he made it. I filmed it. Enjoy!

Corn (Frozen if fresh is not available.)
Black beans (pre-cooked)
Spices (Mexican oregano, thyme, coriander, cumin, salt)
Poblano chili pepper (roasted – skinned)
Red onion, parsley, sour cream for garnish.

Made some very tasty hamburgers yesterday. Super simple. Just made burgers, then seasoned with kosher salt, fresh ground pepper, and chili powder. Then grilled for 5 minutes on each side on the Big Green Egg. Temperature was 600-650 degrees. I think that is what made them so good. Each bite had a nice bit of “salty crunch”. MM. MM. Good! Enjoy!

Near my home in Annapolis, MD there is an awesome little farm stand. It’s located at 301 Bay Dale Drive, Arnold. The tomatoes, corn, squash and melon are very, very good. The corn is the best I’ve had all season. They also have squash, potatoes and more. I just haven’t had a chance to try everything yet, but I will be heading back ASAP. Continue reading
